HOUSE FLIP PROJECT FOR
MISSIONS
LHC Missions Team will be flipping a house and they
need your help. The goal is to work together as a
church to complete this project and direct all
profits to offset costs for upcoming missions. All
work will be done weekends until the end of
September. We need people with painting and flooring
experience badly. Please contact Neil Warner at

YOU SHOP!
LHC will participate in a missions fundraiser with
Kroger and you can help! Purchase a gift card for
$10 at the table in the Ministry Mall today. (There
will be $10 on the gift card when you purchase it.)
When you shop at Kroger, remember to load money onto
the card for your purchases before you shop or
before you begin checking out each time you shop.
Kroger will track the gift card purchases and rebate
LHC 4% of all purchases once we reach a total of
$5,000 in purchases. All rebates will go to our
missions ministry.
AWANA BEGINS SEPTEMBER
8! REGISTER NOW!
You can sign up your children in the Ministry Mall
today! Every parent who is a member or regular
attendee of LHC who has a child in the Awana program
is required to serve one session of Awana. The first
session of adult LIFE classes (Sept.-Dec.) will
repeat during the second session (Jan.-May), so you
can still take your favorite Bible study and serve
in Awana! You may also stop by the table today to
let us know which session and area you would like to
serve and to sign up your children! If you have any
questions, please contact Shannon at

register online, either for your children to attend

or to volunteer to help (HERE).
GRIEFSHARE
If you've lost a loved one, you‘ve probably found
that there are not many people who understand the
deep hurt you feel. GriefShare is a group of people
who understand what you are experiencing and want to
offer you comfort and encouragement during this
difficult time. Our group will meet on Sundays,
5:30-7:00 PM, in the café upstairs beginning Sunday,

DR. ROBERT SMITH
PREACHING ON SEPTEMBER 5!
Dr. Robert Smith, one of LHC’s favorite preachers,
will be filling the pulpit while Pastor Brad is on
vacation. Dr. Smith is Professor of Preaching at
Beeson Theolological Seminary in Birmingham, AL, but
lives in Cincinnati. You do not want to miss hearing
him!
